Suzanne Van Atten is an award-winning freelance writer and editor for magazines, newspapers, and books. She writes features, profiles, reviews, and longform narrative stories on a variety of topics, including travel, books, and the arts. The former director of the Decatur Writers Studio, Suzanne teaches creative nonfiction writing classes at universities and continuing education programs. She holds an MFA in creative nonfiction writing from Queens University of Charlotte, N.C.
